If EtherCAT Network state can't go to Operational State...

I tried to set Motorcortex IPC and maxon EPOS4 drive EtherCAT now. but i have faced to trouble moment. It looks not Operational state and PDO values are not updating from EPOS4 on Motorcortex-DESK tool.
I was followed getting started procedure as described in document. Could you please recommend me for first point to check ? GUI tool is looks not normal , too. so i couldn't see log file.

Hi Hyungyong,

There may be a number of things that you can check:

are you running the Motorcortex App in Production Mode? See: https://docs.motorcortex.io/docs/software-maintenance/simulation-mode/
Did you reconfigure the EtherCAT configuration (the default example will not work for you drives). See: https://docs.motorcortex.io/docs/getting-started/configure-ecat/
Investigate the error messages in the application log. Logs are located on the controller in the folder /var/log/motorcortex. You can access this folder via Cockpit (https://192.168.2.100/cockpit).
Check the debugging tips here, e.g. how to get more information from kernel messages via dmesg: https://docs.motorcortex.io/docs/motorcortex-io-tools/motorcortex-ecat/troubleshoot-ecat/

If you still cannot figure it out, post a recent log file here.

When i had test, i reconfigure ECAT many times. i didn't use no default format.
Anyway, I checked now state via cockpit and dmesg like you said.
So, i attached picture for dmesg result. but i couldn't upload log file due to file format. i will send you log file .dat by email.

Please check it and then inform me.

Today, i got new updates for this ticket.

EtherCAT ERROR : 0-main-0 : Reception of SII read datagram failed : No response.
EtherCAT ERROR : 0-main-0 : Failed to determine product and vendor id. Reading word offset 0x000a failed.

Above two lines are new compared to previous state.

Now, i have difference that PDO mapping matching between Motorcortex setting and EPOS4 setting compared to yesterday settings.

I hope this evidence make successful Motorcortex setup for me.

Good to hear that you got it working. Can you briefly describe what the issue was and how you solved it?

I have changed from Simulation to Production in config.json file. In top of two steps includes Mode: Production and then Mode: simulation. so i made both two step to Production. then i made EPOS4 opstate.
